The News
The HEN Top Ten results are based on traffic statistics (unique hits, traffic flow, hits delivered, traffic quality) and a touch of good old fashioned 'opinion'. The industry changes just like in the real world, so an exchange may not be on the list this week, but will be number 1 next week! Discuss this week's Top 10 list in the Net Marketing Forum! Enjoy this week's list!

Hey Jon, how come I Love Hits, Click Crazey and SWAT Traffic are never on the top 10 list? Since I own them, I feel it would be a conflict of interest to place it on any of my rankings. Deep Thoughts - Feature Articles
Deep Thoughts by Jon OlsonAre you ready for Seattle? A few of us 'TE People' met in Dallas for the last Focus 4 The Future seminar and it was great! Lots of networking, lots of discussion about our industry and more importantly we got to meet each other face to face. You have read all the positive reviews of the Focus 4 The Future Trilogy, so I have to ask you...Will you be in Seattle? Focus 4's next seminar is in 2 weeks and a lot of us are starting to gear up for the second of three internet seminars being held this year by the guys at Focus 4. To say these events are a 'must attend' is such an understatement and if you where looking for the 'secret' to making a living online, you've found it! I'm getting ready too, and will be heading out for Seattle the first week of July for a weekend of networking and great content! So what's holding you back? I can't stress how important it is for your online business to attend these kind of events, and meet the people you work with everyday. It puts such a new face to everything you do. So if you are coming to Seattle, I look forward to seeing you there and like the last seminar, I will be taking the 'traffic exchange' community out for dinner one night. Hey, a free dinner is the least I can do! I hope to see you all July 7th in Seattle!

FYI by Pat MarcelloDon't Complain. Do Something! If you're a traffic exchange enthusiast, you have been notified recently of some important changes. Many manual exchanges have decided to ban all autosurf URLs and to reduce their own downline levels to direct referrals only. Is this a big deal? Well, it is a big deal for the exchange owners. PayPal has been very cautious since the 12 Daily Pro fiasco in February. Now, PayPal has banned all autosurf programs from having accounts. Not only that, but they have begun to sanction folks who have money deposited into their accounts, which comes from autosurf or HYIP (High Yield Investment Programs) sites. If you have a PayPal account, this situation also involves you! If you patronize any surf for cash or HYIP sites, be prepared to lose your PayPal account. Those sites are illegal, period. And don't grouse because exchange owners have made these changes. PayPal is still the premiere payment processor online and exchange owners need to keep their PayPal accounts healthy for the benefit of all of their members. Plus, what are you really losing? How many credits have you earned from your second or third level downline members? In fact, how many have you earned from direct referrals? It's tough keeping people motivated in some exchanges, if they don't see credits moving or are unhappy with their results. Check your stats. I'll bet you won’t be losing very much. The same goes for the cash. How much have you earned? Think about this: It's not the exchange owners who are to blame, it's you! Better exchanges give us the opportunity to welcome our direct referrals. Are you keeping in touch with them? Do you award them free credits when they produce results for you? Or do you ignore them completely and just sit back and expect? Treat your downline well, and you'll probably earn more from these relationships than you would with a sixteen-level affiliate system! Make friends, encourage your downline members, give them some tips that work for you, and even with the recent changes, you’ll come out ahead. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pat Marcello has built some great relationships with her downlines and tries to communicate with each group at least once a month. See the programs she supports at OVMarketing!
Program Review - Storm of CashHuh? A Paid To Click in HEN? O.k., before I get into this let me explain something, I am reviewing the 'traffic exchange' side of SOC and not really the entire program. That being said, Storm of Cash is one of the best kept secrets in the traffic exchange world, and some of the most effective advertising I have ever done. The traffic exchange side of this program, while not as effective as it's PTC side, is still a very good program. The traffic flow is very steady but more importantly you get to advertise to a completely different audience than the traffic exchange crowd. I have been using this program for over two years now, and still am amazed at how well it performs. So while it's not a true traffic exchange, it has everything you want in an online advertising resource.
