Issue 154One To Click On by JonWelcome to the new issue of Hit Exchange News! I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to all the American readers of Hit Exchange News. I hope you have a very safe and enjoyable holiday. Be sure not to eat too much turkey and save some room for a late night surfing session *lol*. I myself, will be watching football. Actually while I type this I'm enjoying the afternoon match ups. That's one good thing I can say for all us non-Americans when it comes to Thanksgiving...We get to watch football in the middle of the week! All kidding aside, I will be doing some work today. I've got something big planned that will be announced in the next day or so. So be sure to watch your inbox for that. It's going to be a fun few days for sure... Have a great week and I hope you enjoy Hit Exchange News!

The News
The HEN Top Ten results are based on traffic statistics (unique hits, traffic flow, hits delivered, traffic quality) and a touch of good old fashioned 'opinion'. The industry changes just like in the real world, so an exchange may not be on the list this week, but will be number 1 next week! Discuss this week's Top 10 list in the Net Marketing Forum! Enjoy this week's list!

Hey Jon, how come I Love Hits, Click Crazey and SWAT Traffic are never on the top 10 list? Since I own them, I feel it would be a conflict of interest to place it on any of my rankings. Deep Thoughts - Feature Articles
Deep Thoughts by Jon OlsonHere Comes All Advantage Again... It's amazing how things go in cycles. When I first started trying to make money online in 1999, there were these cool little programs called 'Paid To Surfs' that started popping up. Essentially they let you download this view bar that would site under or on top of your browser. And you got paid for the amount of ads that displayed in the bar. This was not hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of earning here, but back then when you saw a check for 10 dollars come in the mail, it was a pretty exciting thing. The first program was called All Advantage. Then came zWallet, Desktop Dollars, Spedia, GoToWorld and host of others. Eventually, there was more money going out, than in and the business model crumbled. Fast forward to present day... Agloco seems to already be heralded as the second coming of All Advantage. Not sure if that's a good thing, or a bad thing but one thing is certain people love the thought of getting paid to do nothing. I got about 4 emails this morning that promoted this and only one of them had this in big bold letter 'Use Caution'. So while Agloco may be the next big free thing online, I would like to echo that statement. Be very cautious with programs like this. I saw a lot of good people in early 2000 get low balled by some of these companies. If Agloco is still here in 6 months, then we have a winning formula...If not...

The Voices of the TE IndustryPaul's For Thought by Paul Kinder You know, I only started using traffic exchanges about three months ago and I guess I struck lucky because I already get good results and I got to say, I've a real passion for these programs. But, no one really gets lucky by chance in this world. You've got to make your own luck. So, what was the first thing I did when I started using exchanges? I played around in Google to find out who the go-to guys are. It felt like I read everything, and I surfed a lot to see who's name kept re-appearing. Then I found a way to get in contact with those people. I found a forum that's packed solid with surfers and exchange owners but then I stumbled across the 'real gold'. Many of the people I just made contact with ran online seminars. Fantastic! In the last week or so I've chatted with Tony Tezak, Joe Sansoucie, and Dan n' Brett. I shared a few laughs with Robert Puddy, Mike Paetzold and The Traffic Exchange Guy himself. I've received a lot of free tips from a top-dollar copywriter courtesy of Jen Herold. And above all else each of these people has taught me more than a few things and, you never know, some of them might even be starting to remember my name too! You see, the serious point is that people need to trust you if they're to work with you, or buy from you. And before they trust you, they've got to know you. People do business with people, online or offline. This last week I've ordered from Tim Whiston, Mike Paetzold, Jason Fulgham, Pat Marcello and Paul Senior. I know the faces, I've 'chatted' to most, I trust them. I don't buy from people I know nothing about. There really is no need to struggle with your advertising. So many people have been there before and the thing I noticed about traffic exchanges is that people almost fall over themselves to help you. You've just got to ask! Maybe your favorite exchange runs online seminars? You never know you might even run into a certain newbie in there and I'd love to say hello! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paul Kinder has been networking for a few years. If you'd like to discover which traffic exchanges he is about to buy, and read his regular ramblings, rants and raves about TEworld then check out his blog at TrafficGoldRush.com!
Program Review - Savvy ClicksYou are right Harry! O.k., now that the disclaimer has been put out there, I wanted to review this relatively new traffic exchange that took me way too long to join but I gave it a go a few weeks ago. It's called Savvy Clicks and it's owned by a fellow NMF member Harry Nguyen. Harry has been constantly in the forum defending not only the script he chose to put Savvy Clicks on, but also his position about ownership. Essentially, he says it doesn't matter what script you use, it's the owner the determines the traffic exchange's success. Again, Harry is right. Savvy Clicks is a very nice looking program with plenty of upside. He is a dedicated owner and should do very well with this program. The only complaint I have so far is traffic delivery, which is slow but steady. Get that traffic flowing, and this could be one of the better new exchanges of 2006!
