Welcome to the new issue of Hit Exchange News!

I'm done! I'm completely finished with supporting these traffic exchanges where the owners sit back and wait for their members or someone else to promote for them. Everyone always comes to me and tells me how biased my Top 10 list is, or how it's unfair that I don't rank their own traffic exchanges. Tough luck folks.

I'm tired of seeing hard working exchange owners get shafted by these other owners that sit back and think it's not their job to build their own business. That whole 'build a downline mentality' is getting silly. There's one thing about building a solid team and then waiting for your downline to build your business. I'll always be the first person to shell out hundreds of dollars to promote my own business rather than waiting for someone to promote it. Why?

Simple, it's my dream and my business. If everyone on the net concentrated on their own business and relied on one person, themselves, to promote it...Life would be very good for everyone. Instead we get lazy and we wait for people to build our own business...

Something to think about, but for me, I'm done waiting for these exchange owners to get on the 'promote you' bandwagon. Let's hear it for the owners that take the bull by the horns and as Larry The Cable Guy says...'Get R Done'...

• Check out this brand new traffic exchange called Road Runner Surf. This hot new exchange is from Ed Tyner and it looks to be a very solid new addition. Be sure to grab your free account now as it launched about 3 hours ago and should become very popular, very soon!
• There's another 'big referral contest' that started on May 14th between Traffic Punk, Link Crews and Traffic At The Races. For the next month, the top referrer in all three programs has the chance to pocket $600. Not a bad pay day for referring free members to a traffic exchange.
• I moved Net Marketing Forum from the I Love Hits server this past week. Currently there is some trouble with the forum but we are working on that now. However I Love Hits should now be quite a bit faster to surf. Please check back to NMF later today as it should be up and running in a few hours.
• Here's a cool little contest that started this past week, Start Xchange is giving away a quick 50 bucks for anyone that comes up with an article that describes the history of traffic exchanges. I wonder if I can enter Hits, Clicks and Misses into the contest?
• Congratulations to Whirl Wind Traffic as it celebrated it's one year anniversary this past week. This well designed machine has been pumping out hits for the past 12 months and many more to come.

Run Forest Run!

So it looks like a one time popular 'scheme' is getting it's day in court. This makes me wonder why on earth do people still fall for these kind of programs. Everyday, someone is constantly getting ripped off and robbed online by thinking they are going to get rich by joining a money making scheme of some kind.

Do you remember my example of the 'slot machine marketer'? For those that may not be familiar with this term, I basically compared some of the opportunities online to slot machines. The price is cheap so people keep jumping from opportunity to opportunity, throwing money at each of them and trying to strike it rich. Guess who wins? The house, and that is the person that owns the opportunity.

For the love of everything that is good online, I wish people would do their homework before investing any amount of money into a business. Especially one that you do not own yourself. If it sounds too good to be true, it is! A real business will not make you rich in 30 days. You will not be making thousands a day overnight. And there is no 'set it and forget it' in online business.

Online business is just getting started and we are a new industry in the big scheme of things. And new people are always coming online to look to make money. Let's all do our part and spread the message to 'RUN AWAY FROM SCAMS!'

Program Review - TX Totalshare

This could be the best new traffic exchange to be released in quite some time, or simply just a very cool new program. The decision will come down to two factors, one will the traffic exchange industry embrace this new program. And second, how much will it be promoted in a few months from now.

TX Total Share (or TX TS for short) is a new exchange based on the TX Script Jet script, a commercial script that is not as popular as the TCN, Walker or LJ but still has all the features you want in a traffic exchange. The idea behind this exchange could be compared to Cash Clicking as they have implemented an open market feature that allows you to buy credits from other exchange surfers. This translates into some very good prices if you are looking to purchase some hits but also opens it up to potential income generating. One problem...

The exchange is not big enough yet. Once more people get involved, this thing could be massive. Bu it'll take a ton of promotion and some major owner support. Things look good and time will tell. It could be the sleeper of 2007.
