Welcome to the new issue of Hit Exchange News!

I apologize for the tardiness of this issue, I had a bunch of offline stuff I had to take care of yesterday and I thought, what better way to spend an evening than writing Hit Exchange News. I'd like to welcome the dozens of new subscribers to the e-zine, I'm honored to have you on board and I look forward to reaching your inbox every week.

H.E.N. was created in 2003 from a need. This industry was just starting to bubble and to my surprise no one was writing about it on a weekly basis. This coupled with the importance for one to build a mailing list, fueled this e-zine to what it has become today. It's more than just the voice of the traffic exchange industry, it's the blood sweat and tears of every single user, surfer, owner and enthusiast that has made the traffic exchanges the most underrated and highly used form of advertising online.

Sure each traffic exchange owner does things in his or her own way, and that's what makes it so much fun. But together, this business is unstoppable. I've been saying it since 2003, and I'll say it for the next decade!

• A brand new 'exchange' was launched this week by industry veterans Pat Lovell, Jon Atwood and Simon Kelly. Footer Ads is a brand new advertising exchange where members can place adverts in the footer code of their web sites. It's a very cool new tool that is extremely viral and can translate into thousands of impressions a day. Nice work guys, this looks like a real gem.
• Bring back the referral levels! Click Crazey has returned to offer it's members credits from all their downline's surfing. You may remember in a bold move a few years ago, this exchange removed the 'referral structure' from it's system. Well it's back and so is the traffic delivery...Wow!
• Want to surf your way to free random referrals? Well you can at Advertising Know How! This brand new feature was added recently that lets heavy surfers earn referrals, simply by surfing the program. Not a bad prize for doing something you already do?
• Way to go Vern! Smiley Traffic just hit 20,000 members only a few short hours ago. What an amazing achievement for one of the more 'vocal' traffic exchange owners and it's members! Keep it coming sir, we want another 20k!
