Welcome to the new issue of Hit Exchange News!

So I'm on the road...again! One thing about working for yourself, especially online, is that while's nice and easy to grab and internet connection and check your emails, it's tough to keep up to date with everything that takes place.

Even worse, when you are on the road, I start to panic more when something goes wrong. Word to the wise, take it easy when you are supposed to be 'taking it easy'. We, as entrepreneurs, are addicted to our work. Most of us have a passion that does not let us ease up and relax when we should be. So what's the solution?

Walk away when you need to. Your business is not going to fail if you take a day or two for your family and yourself. It's important to do this because when you back on the horse and start to work again, you are refreshed and have a fresh mind. By no means am I about to write a Pulitzer here, but it's H.E.N., it's Thursday and it's a great day to be involved in the traffic exchanges.

• William Brant's 13 Deadly Traffic Exchange Tragedies has been a huge success. This very informative and well written ebook has sold hundreds of copies and has help a lot of T.E. surfers find out the common mistakes that plague a lot of the members of these programs. I just wanted to congratulate William on one of the most informative ebooks ever written about the traffic exchanges!
• Net Marketing Forum is getting a new server. After over a week of super slow server speeds, NMF is getting a new home. Again, special thanks goes to Jon Atwood for getting this worked on. Without Jon, NMF would be operating at Commodore 64 speeds it seems. Thank you sir!.
• Speaking of NMF. There's a great post in there this week that asks about whether or not you should upgrade in Traffic Swarm. It's the biggest, some people think it's the best. But it asks the question as well, what makes a great upgrade value in the traffic exchanges.

The Dog 'Daze' of Summer?

I always get a kick out of the 'urban legends' that seem to pop up in this business. The magic stat that says only 5% of the people who start an online business will succeed. The other one about how critical it is to have 'unique traffic'. And my personal favorite, there is a slow down during the summer months for online business.

I really try not to laugh too hard at that last one. Why? Because for the past 4 years, like clock work, my best months in business have been during the 'summer slow down'. Why does this myth exist than? Maybe it's a fact for some folks, who knows? But this is the way I look at it, when my competition is sitting on the beach or taking a nap under a tree and 'enjoying the summer slow down', I'm going to be working even harder to promote and build my businesses.

Yes, turn their laziness into a benefit for your business. It's time to really roll up your sleeves and take advantage of the fact that while most folks are taking it easy, you are doing your absolute best to be in that magical 5%.

Program Review - Earth Hits

Something I always yap about is the importance of being a 'sponge' in this business when you are starting out. Nathy Curiel could be the personification of a sponge when it comes to traffic exchange as it's evident with the release of his new program Earth Hits.

Logo? Check. Nice design? Check. Solid management? Check. Everything on this program looks and feels great and I really do think it's because Nathy sat back, and soaked up all the information he could about this business.

The new exchange is on a modified LJ Script, which will be familiar to surfers of I Love Hits, Traffic Soldiers and Hit Pirate. It's got a cool looking surf bar and nice feel and theme to it.

If all goes as planned, this exchange will grow at a slow and steady pace and be here in 2 years from now. Which cannot be said about the majority of new exchanges.
