One To Click On by Jon

Welcome to the new issue of Hit Exchange News!

So here we go! This week saw the launch of John Reese's Blog Rush, which for all accounts is essentially a blog text ad exchange. Yes, another big name guy in the internet marketing world has gotten his feet wet with the traffic exchange model.

While the jury is still out on Blog Rush, the fact is that more and more people are starting to realize the power and the potential of the traffic exchanges. And what does that mean for us?

More eye balls! More activity! And more results!

It's another great week to be involved with the traffic exchanges and from all accounts this is only the beginning. Be sure your splash pages are looking good and your credits are plentiful.

Thank you very much for being a subscriber and enjoy Hit Exchange News!

The News

  • While some traffic exchanges do re-designed and let the world know of their new look, others completely revamp their entire program. Check out Free Traffic Bar's new look and amazing new list of features. This program looks like a million bucks now and has the features to back it up. New credit management systems, link campaigns and bonuses have all been added to this very popular ad bar system.
  • It's a great time to surf Traffic Pods! For the next few days, the popular Logiscape program will be giving away thousand of bonus Pod Points while you surf. While TS 25 remains their bread and butter, Traffic Pods should see some huge increases in activity this week. be sure to take advantage of the bonuses.
  • A special thanks goes to all the members at 10 k hits 4 u now and it's owner Rob Gehring for allowing me to partake in their conference last week. it was a great seminar and lots of different ideas where shared. Thanks folks!
  • This Week's Splash Page Hall of Fame Entry is this page! It's no secret. I love Deep Sea hits right now. Check out one of the best splash pages I have ever seen for any traffic exchange here.

The HEN Top Ten results are based on traffic statistics (unique hits, traffic flow, hits delivered, traffic quality) and a touch of good old fashioned 'opinion'. The industry changes just like in the real world, so an exchange may not be on the list this week, but will be number 1 next week! Discuss this week's Top 10 list in the Net Marketing Forum!

Hey Jon, how come I Love Hits, Click Crazey and SWAT Traffic are never on the top 10 list? Since I own them, I feel it would be a conflict of interest to place it on any of my rankings. If you want to see how well they are performing each week, please check TestHoopla top 20 weekly ranking!

Deep Thoughts - Feature Articles

Membership Counts! How Many People Are Surfing Your Favorite Traffic Exchange?

I've been doing it for years in my updates, but this past week I found myself wondering why it seems to be this deep dark secret as to what the membership counts are of various traffic exchanges online. What are these owners hiding? Are they afraid that people will see smaller than expected membership counts? I'm not sure but I'd like to get some more information from the industry leaders and other exchange owners.

For example, I started a little survey at Net Marketing Forum which has received lukewarm response at best. Am I expecting each and every owner to jump up and down and reveal their membership counts? No, but some of the owners that do frequent the forum have yet to speak up.

The other argument is regardless of membership count, people want to know how many active members there are. That's fine. I can agree with that and I think it's a very valid question. But something that peaks my interest much more is the amount of new members that are brought in each and every week. This, is my golden nugget for deciding which exchange I should surf and upgrade in and which I should pass by. Simple, the more members that are brought in each week tells me that the owner is busting their butts to build their business. More members, means new and fresh eye balls checking out your sites. That I will support until I'm blue in the face.

Are membership numbers important? Absolutely. It shows the surfer how much an exchange is growing and on a week by week basis. So I ask, is your favorite exchange telling you how well they are growing?

Program Review - Traffic Muscles

If you haven't heard the name Kenneth Kraakstad, chances are you haven't been spending too much time surfing the traffic exchanges. Kenneth has become one of the more well known names and faces in this business by doing everything right. Branding his name and getting it out there for all to see.

Case in point is Kenneth's new traffic exchange Traffic Muscles. While it's based on the popular LJ Script (similar to I Love Hits, Traffic Soldiers, Traffic Dodgems), Kenneth has really done a great job to promote his program in the few short days it has been online. This program is everywhere and can be seen in almost every traffic exchange that you surf.

Here is the perfect example of how to launch a program and make it a real success quickly. The program looks very well designed, the traffic flow is great and the brand has already started a few discussions in the Net Marketing Forum. Well done sir!
