The Pulse of the Hit Exchange Industry!
October 4th, 2007

One To Click On by Jon

Welcome to the new issue of Hit Exchange News!

O.k., it's kind of a funny new term I came up with but we just added out Banner Impressions Per Post service back at Net Marketing Forum. Here's how it works. It's kind of taking the traffic exchange theory but rather than full page views being exchanges, it's banner impressions.

First, you join Net Marketing Forum and add a banner to your profile. After that, simply take part in the daily discussions, post a review, post a comment and presto, instant banner impressions. The banners appear in between each post and will help your advertising needs while you communicate with others and build your network.

I really hope everyone enjoys this service which we had installed a few months ago but ran into some problems with it. It should be good to go now and please let me know if you have any troubles with it at all.

Be sure to swing by Net Marketing Forum and take the Banner Impressions per Post for a test drive.

Thank you very much for being a subscriber and enjoy Hit Exchange News!

The News

  • Traffic Splash hit 10,000 members this past week. Wow what a remarkable story this exchange had become and congratulations deserves to out to the entire TS team. Way to go guys!
  • S.W.A.T. Traffic also hit a nice milestone this week too. Even though it's not as high as Traffic Splash, 7000 members have now joined the SWAT membership. Not too bad for a program that not even a year old.
  • Steve Ayling launched a brad new 'system' this week called the Residual Traffic System. It's a very cool little training course on how to monetize traffic exchanges and get unlimited traffic exchange traffic to your sites. Very nice addition to the industry.
  • Hip Hop Clixs is looking like it's going to shut it's doors in the near future. The email notice went out to the membership and said the doors will shut on this one time very promising niche traffic exchange. It's a shame too, this could have been quite the popular program if it was managed correctly.
  • This Week's Splash Page Hall of Fame Entry is this page! Shark Studio makes amazing pages. This one was tailor made to use exchange specific branding at Hit Safari by promoting Hit Devil. Very cool.

The HEN Top Ten results are based on traffic statistics (unique hits, traffic flow, hits delivered, traffic quality) and a touch of good old fashioned 'opinion'. The industry changes just like in the real world, so an exchange may not be on the list this week, but will be number 1 next week! Discuss this week's Top 10 list in the Net Marketing Forum!

Enjoy this week's list!

  1. Traffic Splash
  2. TS 25
  3. Hit Safari
  4. Start Xchange
  5. Traffic Swarm
  6. Deep Sea Hits
  7. Max Traffic Pro
  8. Dragon Surf
  9. Traffic Roundup

Hey Jon, how come I Love Hits, Click Crazey and SWAT Traffic are never on the top 10 list? Since I own them, I feel it would be a conflict of interest to place it on any of my rankings. If you want to see how well they are performing each week, please check TestHoopla top 20 weekly ranking!

Deep Thoughts - Feature Articles

H.E.N. To Become A Blog?

I really need your feedback on a little idea that I've been playing with. I love writing Hit Exchange News every week, but I want to maximize it's reach in the future. I've been thinking about making Hit Exchange News a blog.

Basically the same formula would take place, I would continue to email every Thursday to let people know that the blog has been updated. However I do not want to make a decision until I get the feedback from you, the reader.

Please take a second and go and give me your opinion on a quick poll that you can vote on by clicking here. The question is simple, should H.E.N. become a blog or not?

We're almost at issue 200, so i thought it would be a good time to shake things up a bit.

Program Review - Send Out Cards

Want to know a secret? This little program is responsible for most of my growth on all my traffic exchanges. How? Simple, it builds customer loyalty. Here's a tool that no one in the traffic exchange industry has embraced, that is so easy to use and could add thousands of dollars a year to your business.

Send Out Cards is an MLM. Yes, I know it's a business opportunity. But I have never used this program to make money directly from it. I use the products (the post cards) to build customer loyalty to all my customers that have purchased credits at my exchanges. This program is easy to use, it's very straight forward and it's now become an integral part of my business.

Sure you can join the latest greatest MLM company on the net and sell over priced fruit juice that tastes like chalk. Or you can check something out that will become part of your marketing and build customer loyalty like nothing else on the net. I've been using this program for almost a year now and nothing compares. A must join if you are serious about building customer loyalty.

Things That Make You Go...Hmmm? (A 'Different' Look at the Industry!)

  • True View Traffic is two years old! Nice milestone for a very unique T.E. Hmmm....
  • Remember Real EZ Traffic? Neither do I. Hmmm....
  • GIB Line...No contact information and identity hidden on thr WHOIS info. Still, it's being promoted in every exchange I surf. Hmmm....
