Issue 192One To Click On by JonWelcome to the new issue of Hit Exchange News! So it looks like the majority has voted and are looking for Hit Exchange News to be offered in a blog format. I don't want to make any rush decisions and would still love to get your feedback from it at Net Marketing Forum. There are a few reasons why I'm considering it, but the big two are lack of participation in any polls or topics in my forum about each issue and basically, I want to see if I can piggy back off the weekly updates and get some search engine placements. This is a big decision which I want to weight fully before I make any moves. And H.E.N. is over 4 years old now and we're approaching Issue Number 200. So I'm looking to shake things up a bit. Anyways, please do pop by and have your say. This is your weekly newsletter about traffic exchanges and it will remain that way, so please let me know how I can make it better for another 200 issues! Thank you very much for being a subscriber and enjoy Hit Exchange News!

Deep Thoughts - Feature ArticlesAre traffic exchanges a multi-million dollar industry? The short answer? I think so. Yes, it's true it looks like the ugly duckling of the internet marketing world is actually quite the revenue generator and maybe it's time to start bragging about it? Of course, this is speculation and I can only know for sure how much income I generate but I'm just one person...Imagine companies like Traffic Swarm who have thousands and thousands of new members joining every week and a company like Logiscape who can dominate the industry at the drop of a dime when they release something new. Exciting thoughts for sure. But it's time to admit it, the traffic exchanges are here. They are a value asset to your advertising campaigns and nothing pull sin the newer marketer better than these programs. I hear rumblings through the grapevine that some big names are about to try their hand at traffic exchange ownership and this only means good things ahead for our little industry. So there you have it, we're slowly but surely becoming the force I knew we could after all these years...Cool huh?
The Voices of the TE Industry
How Traffic Exchanges Work And Who Uses Them? How do traffic exchanges function and under what circumstances would I utilize one? This is a frequently asked question by persons or businesses who are proprietors of internet addresses. Using a traffic exchange may frequently be beneficial for private persons and internet-based corporations alike , however the majority of people are somewhat vague about precisely how traffic exchanges work. Webmasters who own or operate web sites can join a traffic exchange network by signing up for traffic exchange web sites. When someone submits a web site to a traffic exchange network, he/she earns points by browsing other sites in the network. Other network members earn points by browsing the site you submit. The net result is a mutual benefit for everyone: all sites in the network benefit from increased traffic. This is a simple explanation of how traffic exchanges work. The majority of traffic exchanges permit an internet site to receive a certain amount of credit and maintain a certain credit ratio, which is the thing that determines the quantity of internet sites an individual has to view in order to receive one hit on their own internet site. A lot of traffic exchange sites offer you a choice of buying an enhanced account that permits a more equitable credit ratio. For example, you need to look at fewer sites to receive an additional hit on your site. You might also find a unique fringe benefit: because most web sites in the same traffic exchange network share similar content, you might be interested in the other web sites that you must browse. If nothing else, you can at least stay aware of what your competitors are doing. The best traffic exchange programs are free to join, but most also feature the notion of a paid upgraded account that offers special features and increased credits. They also encourage you to refer people from your site to other sites in the network and build up credits this way. This referral system is probably the best way to use a traffic exchange in order to reap maximum benefits in regards to earning credits. However, advertising a concise splash page or landing page with eye catching graphics, including an auto- responder form to capture a name and email address to build your opt-in list is absolutely the best way to benefit the most from a traffic exchange. As you can see, the basic concept of how traffic exchanges work is quite simple. But who uses traffic exchange programs? The main users are small business owners or marketers who either want to use the system to get free advertising or to use the exchange program to get a wider audience for low budget advertising campaigns. Most people are vague about how traffic exchanges work. By joining a traffic exchange network, the member's site gains traffic and he builds credit by browsing the other sites on the network (thus becoming traffic himself). By surfing around the network, he can browse similar websites and keep an eye on the competition, all the while building credits for his own site's traffic. The best traffic exchange programs are free to join, but may feature paid upgraded accounts with special features and referral programs to earn more credits.

Program Review - Dare 2 ClickIt's amazing what a script change and brand new re-design can do. Check out the new look and the new script on Dare 2 Click, which is not the newest exchange on the net but it's got a fresh new look which makes it seem that way. Based on the LJ Script (I Love Hits, Traffic At The Races), it will be quite familiar to everyone that has spent anytime but Celson (the owner) has got big plans for this addition to the industry. Again, I hate sounding like a broken record but the success of this program will all fall on the owners shoulders. The design is good, the script it solid, now let's see where he can take this traffic exchange... Overall Rating: 4.0 Mouse Clicks (Rating out of 5.0) Have a look at Dare 2 Click by clicking the link! Things That Make You Go...Hmmm? (A 'Different' Look at the Industry!)
