All. Records. Smashed!
Last week at the T3 seminar we had 91 people in the room. It was the largest single event held by traffic exchange owners since we started to congregate in the famed Hot Conference seminar rooms. This week, I have to admit, I was worried…
Not that I didn’t think we’d get more than 91 people, but I didn’t wanna be let down if we didn’t reach the target of 100. I’m a bit of a worry wort and the TimTech guys where telling me all afternoon, don’t worry, we’ll do fine.
The traffic exchange industry stepped up and knocked it out of the park. THANK YOU!
We crushed the previous record of 91 with 125 people in one conference room dedicated to traffic exchanges. Amazing stuff, absolutely mind blowing and we cannot thank you enough.
The traffic exchange community is alive and thriving and for everyone that said ‘social doesn’t work’…I’ve got 125 reasons why it does and if you are STILL sleeping on the power of social media in the traffic exchanges…Well, it’s cool. I’m going to focus on the people that do use this media and are seeing huge numbers because of it.
Badges! Social surfing! Engaging customers! ClickTrackProfit! And the TE Live community (you guys know who you are), are reasons why this movement cannot fail and won’t, because it’s being built BY THE MEMBERS.
So thank you to everyone who came out yesterday and was a part of traffic exchange history. Let’s doing it even bigger next Monday =)
P.S. Even though it got shadowed by the T3 seminar, it’s of special note that Traffic Exchange Live broke records yesterday as well. We had over 50 people in the TE Live community…During a weekday afternoon seminar. Crazy!!!
Get involved now folks. We started this social stuff a year ago and even though it’s taken this long, it’s proof that social networking works but takes some time. Meet the members that are making this happen today at 3pm Eastern!

I’m new to all this and I’m just glad that there’s a real “live” community dedicated to helping all members succeed in this venture. All your inputs are invaluable. I do hope too that I’d be able to attend all the time, despite the challenge that I’m from a different timezone LOL! Again, I look forward to learning more and more. Thanks!

I for one can not wait to see and I am so happy and honored to have be apart of both of those numbers yesterday.
I will never forget the day I was surfing and all of a sudden I came on this guy talking and I stopped to watch and I have not left…. That was the day I discovered TE Live and it was just starting. My first reaction was this guy (Jon) is Crazy. I did not even know who he was but I had heard of Jon Olson so I hung around and listened for awhile and then I went back the next day and the next and so on til this day. Very few things keep me from this 3:00 appointment. Met Lynn there who was a mentor to me and Diane and made so many good friends. So I just keep going back….. And the time has been well spent.

Congrats to you and Timtech on an awesome accomplishment! Since I’m on the west coast and work at a J-O-B, I can’t make TELive (unless it’s a Friday I’m off) and usually get home too late for the evening seminars. Last nite, I arrived home more than an hour after you guys started, and I wasn’t going to bother…I’m glad I changed my mind!
Brenda – You are quickly becoming one of the most influential people in the traffic exchange industry. And all it took was a little time and effort. You rock, and we cannot tell you how much you mean to TimTech.

I didn’t get home from work in time for the start of TE Live, (being on the West coast) but when I got the email on my blackberry you guys were only at 98, so as soon as I got home I grabbed my laptop took it to the kitchen & signed in while making dinner.
glad I did I enjoyed listen to what was said even though I couldn’t interact much. Since you guys started with the whole social media thing I was very reluctant to put my picture out there for the world to see, but I stepped out of my comfort zone & did it. I have never regretted it because it was not long before I started getting results.
Thanks guys you have really made a difference in my marketing world.

Congratulations on the attendance numbers last night, I made my first visit and stayed up as late as I could (til just past 1am here in little ol’ Englishland ) I sure am knackered now, after a day at the offline career!!
I got a pretty good idea of what it’s all about in the time I was there, and I’ll be taking the personal branding stuff on board in my endeavour to make my TE succesful.
I don’t have any coding or web building skills, so I can’t make my site look as flash as some of the others out there BUT I am good at customer care (award-winning offline) so putting my personality out there will be the key!

125 people is great but we are still just scratching the surface.
Why would any TE surfer NOT want to be at T3 or even the daily TE Live conference. Sure, timezones is a factor but there are thousands of people clicking in TEs while these conferences are going on.
I’m still waiting for the rest of the industry to catch on to what we already know and start taking advantage of all the benefits we are getting out of attending these conferences on a regular basis.
Jerry – Dude you are one of the biggest reasons this stuff is working bro. You mean a lot to this and you hit the nail on the head. We know time zones suck…But at 3pm Eastern and 7 pm Eastern…You can be in Asia / Pacific and Europe to attend either or.

It was a barrel of fun being on that call last night and a wee bit nutty. It was great to see all you guys in action and know that you are working hard to make it work for us: that you are passionate about that.
I don’t get a chance to get on these calls very often but I was really happy to be able to make it and be part of history, though I have to admit I was a little bit worried about Jon there for awhile. I thought he might explode or something.

Despite the best efforts of Comcast (who are still up to their old trick today), I managed to make it through most of last night’s T3 event. I think the social thing might catch on eventually. Keep working on it, LOL.

I will try to get to TELive asap. Since James said you are still going 2hours later I just might have a chance to see what is going on even if I do make it late. I too, am on the west coast and my offline job takes me to 6 to 6:30 pacific so I will check to see if you all are still out there then.
