Issue 226 - A Monumental Day In The Traffic Exchanges!
Author: The T.E. GuyI was on the road for about 3 weeks and got back last week to a bunch of private messages and emails from a few traffic exchange owners. They said they had something big and they wanted me on board.
The special project was completed about 30 seconds ago and I`m honored to announce it here today in Hit Exchange News. It`s called the `Super Surfer` script and the following 5 traffic exchanges have installed this unique and first of a kind script.
Advertising Know How
Traffic Splash
Dragon Surf
Magnify Traffic
I Love Hits
The concept is simple, surf these 5 traffic exchange at once at anytime of the day and get increased surf ratios across the board. This is on top of all the bonuses you would already get for surfing these traffic exchanges, but now when you surf them all at once, you get even more with the Super Surfer script.
This is a monumental day in the traffic exchanges because for the first time, we are seeing 5 different owners, with different scripts and business ideals, come together and create something EVERY single one of their members will benefit from.
This is a massive joint venture in the truest sense of the word and on behalf of Robert, Soren, Kyle and Dan, Paul and Tim and myself, we’d like to introduce you to the Super Surfer script.
Log into one of the traffic exchanges above, upload your usernames to the script once (and only once) and start surfing. Your bonuses are ready and the traffic will be flowing like never before!
Thank you very much for being a reader of Hit Exchange News and have a wonderful week!

The News
- Speaking of Traffic Splash, Paul just let me know that they hit the 30,000 member mark a few minutes ago. This has been the success story of the traffic exchanges during the past year and a half. Congrats to Paul, Tim and the entire Splash family!
- Hit Pirate also celebrated a milestone this week and even though it’s not as high as Traffic Splash, it’s still a wonderful achievement for one of the hardest working traffic exchange owners on the planet. Congrats to Captain Jack for hitting 8,000 members this past week!
- The 31 Flavors of August promotion has started at both Clicks 4 Education and Surf 4 The Earth. Neat little promo where you get a bucket of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream for every 100 pages you surf in both exchanges. A ‘cool’ way to surf this summer and another promo to ‘tackle’ the legendary summer slow down.
- Want to win your own copy of the best selling traffic exchange book on Amazon.com, Hits, Clicks and Misses, (actually, it’s the only published book about T.E.’s on the planet), simply post a comment about this week’s issue of HEN! Congratulations to ‘Jesus Moreno’ for winning last week. Be sure to send your mailing address to me so that I can ship you a copy!
- Splash Page Hall of Fame - Speaking of the Super Surfer script, check out the brand new splash page you will be seeing everywhere for the next few weeks here! Note: Why do I focus on splash pages every week? Simple, you MUST be using them in the traffic exchanges to get results. Get a custom made splash page by clicking here!

3. Traffic Era
4. Promo Lotto

Question: Hey Jon, how come I Love Hits, SWAT Traffic and Click Crazey are never on the top 10 list? Since I own them, I feel it would be a conflict of interest to place it on any of my rankings. (But we all know how great they are anyways lol)

Deep Thoughts - Jon’s Weekly Rambling
Working Together? Get It Done!
With the launch of the Super Surfer script today, I can finally say that the traffic exchanges as a community, has taken a wonderful leap forward.
What’s the big deal? A neat script to give you bonuses if you surf 5 exchanges at once? Yeah, that’s cool but the big thing for me, as an owner and surfer is the fact that 5 owners got together and made something happen as a whole.
Remember all the hype about the traffic exchange alliance, downline integrity brigade and associations of traffic exchanges coming together? Well this script did that PLUS showed trust and mutual respect between 5 different companies who do things their own way.
The end result? A wonderful new script with massive potential for future additions that benefits every user of every exchange taking part. I joked about getting ‘teary eyed’ earlier today in the SWAT Traffic seminar room but honestly, this has been a long time coming and I’m so honored to be a part of it.
Enjoy it folks, this is the first of many new advances in the traffic exchange industry and shows the maturity of it as a whole!

Things That Make You Go Hmmm…
- Downline Integrity Brigade? What ever happened to that?
- Traffic Dynamite Pro? Sure do like to ‘borrow’ images from Traffic Dynamite.
- Oh and before the haters start complaining, yes the top 10 this week includes every exchange in the super surfer script (except ILH of course). Why? Because it’s my opinion, and I love to showcase owners who do things differently!

I’m very excited about this new Super Surf script - should be great for all 5 exchanges… And of course great for the members
A big thank you to Robert for getting the idea, to John Merrick for programming it and to the other owners for wanting to play.
I just finished surfing 50 sites using the Super Surfer. It’s great getting an extra 10% on top of my pro membership ratios.
I also really like what Robert has done on the surf bar at AKH. I should surf more often (but I was taking his advice and not surfing the exchanges)
Thanks for keeping us up to date.
Charles
Congrats to the owners for this great idea.
Great Idea! Its great to see the owners come together for the good of the whole industry. When can I get my hands on that script
Great job guys!
What a great idea the super surfer is. Sadly it is too close to my bedtime to give it a try but I will be there tomorrow!
Those 5 exchanges are always among the best performing - must be a lesson in there for all of us.
Regards
Keith
This is an amazing idea. I’m heading out to give it a spin and review it right now. Surfing multiple exchanges at once is a great strategy for building credits quick. A good amount of time is taken up by pages loading and surfing multiple exchanges at once keeps you from wasting time staring at the status bar.
I know there is controversy surrounding the concept of surfing multiple exchanges at once (some believe that people are more likely to ignore the ads this way). However, I think it actually improves the experience by doing just as I’ve said, earning you credits while other pages are loading.
Thanks again for keeping us up to date.
Yes this a a great concept. It should also be noted that by surfing all those exchanges included at once and running
your advertising campaigns at the same time your sites will be shown in all of the participating traffic exchanges at the same time. A big plus for the surfer/advertiser and for the traffic exchange owner a boost in
overall surfing activity.
Maybe the Traffic exchanges scope could be widened by providing this script for different blocks of participating exchanges.
I am really mad that I missed the Swat conference this week too.
I got my days mixed up.
News and training abounds at the conferences.
Thanks again Jon for making this TE industry so much more fun and profitable.

The super script sounds great. I’m looking forward to testing it.
[...] = “The+Super+Surfer+Script+is+LIVE%21″; I announced it first in this week’s issue of Hit Exchange News and I am announcing it to the entire I Love Hits membership today as [...]
The new script sounds fantastic. Too bad you had to include DragonSurf as I will never be able to use it. Soren is still jealous of me and my acomplishments and will not let me open a account.
Hopefully you will open it up to other exchanges and give us the right to choose our 5. Good choice on the other 4 but I would have preferred Traffic Soldiers 20,000 plus members or StartXchanges’s 30,000 plus members the fifth exchange then the smaller less effective DragonSurf.
Hopefully more exchanges will be added to this fantastic idea so we can choose the 5 that give us the best results!

Super Surf script looks like last battle against new te’s. No new commissions - only few credits. I think you can keep them. Anyway this was good try.
I think the Super Surf Script sounds like a great idea (and I’m not even a fan of increased surfing ratios).
Thank you Jon for mentioning the 31 Flavors of August contest. I just wanted to clarify that we are not giving away a bucket of ice cream for every 100 sites you surf. You need to surf 100 sites for 23 days in August at both Surf4theEarth and Clicks4Education to get the ice cream.
Thanks for the mention Jon but surf4theearth is giving out 1 pt of icecream to each member that surfs 100 sites at clicks4education and surf4theearth for 23 days of the month.
What happened to the concept of surf only 4 at a time?
Ari - No one is out to get the little guy. Popular to what people may think. This was like minded owners getting together and creating something to benefit their members and of course all the TEs involved.
Suzette / Annette - gotcha.
Thom - Posted in ILH / SWAT but people need to do what works for them. I surfed 4 at a time for years and it worked wonders. Needed to adapt and try something new. Working so far.
Rich - LOL Dude, jealous is so the wrong word. This idea though will no doubt spark other owners to come up with other ideas too. The sky’s the limit.
The hypocrisy of this idea is stunning! It’s a modification to VS-TEN which you so determinedly shot down because of the threat of “unknown surfers” from other exchanges.
You have taken 5 great exchanges and turned them into a single useless mess.
Another “Hit Exchange News” endorsement that should be treated as a warning label.
hi T.E. Guy
You are missing the point.
For a long time Jon has been holding up the principle of “Surf Only 4 at a Time”.
Now he seems to have just dumped it for 5 at a time.
I trust people who stick to their principles.
If they do something that goes against their publicized principles I want an acceptable explanation before I can again take anything they say or write seriously.
Come on Jon, what’s next, 6 at a time because somebody comes up with another idea that you want in on.
Why not 20 at a time if somebody can make it worth giving up your principles
Thom
John - You get the traffic from the site you surf. There is no ‘distribution’ of traffic around the different sites. This is not a co-op, it’s a bonus surf ratio. Surf all 5 sites at once, you get a higher surf ratio. This is so far from VS Ten it can’t even be compared.
Thom - That’s true. I cannot argue that I stuck by no more than 4 for years. I made a decision for I Love Hits and it’s members, if it’s the wrong one, I’ll have to live with it. But I thought I did what was best for my program. Nothing more, nothing less. And 5 at once is hardly 20, I can see you argument with raising it to five, but 20? Honestly?
You have been encouraging the idea “no more than 4″ and now it is 5. If you can’t stick to the idea how can you expect anyone else to.
I’m just disappointed with you. I’ll get over it.
I’ll drop this now, it is not worth me getting my knickers twisted.
best wishes
Thom
Thom - completely understandable. I apologize for the mixed messages.
This was a business decision for the advancement of I Love Hits as program which in turn, helps everyone in the system.
It was not meant to go against my principles, but I can see how it did. To be honest, the amount of time I have been talking about No More Than 4, I kept hearing people say they hated the idea LOL They wanted to surf more.
The main concept behind the no more than four was to give attention and respect to your fellow surfer. The big message was not to load up 15-20 sites at once. I personally would never do that, but I know people do.
Hi Ari, I understand why some owners of smaller exchanges could be negative about this so I’m gonna try and explain why I think it’s good for the traffic exchange “industry” as a whole.
OK, so this thing is about 5 of the bigger exchanges growing together and becoming stronger. Can’t deny that (we have a right to earn money too. we do work hard for it!) but so why do I think this thang helps other exchanges too?
Well, each of these five exchanges has the resources to reach out to grow the industry by advertising externally, and we do. A lot! Small guys need big guys to do that because they cannot afford to advertise on any sizeable scale. Sorry if that hurts but it’s just plain fact. If everybody was just advertising in each others TE’s results would soon dry up.
SuperSurf will enable us to advertise more and grow together faster as we share members, activity and therefore income. Here’s where that helps other TE’s ….
The new members we bring in to TE’s WILL receive good service and should get better results than if they join an exchange that has only 200 members for example. A greater proportion WILL have a good start to their TE experience and therefore won’t storm off saying “TEs don’t work”
Therefore, more new members are likely to be more successful and to stay as active surfers longer. As these new members grow their biz they WILL need to test other exchanges.
So, they will surf elsewhere and because more of them are successful they will have a greater ad budget to spend around ALL the exchanges they use. Not just these five.
Can you not see the possibilities? The top exchanges working together to grow bigger is NOT a bad thing!
There is absolutely no way that just 5 TE’s or 10 or 20 could takeover an “industry” as fragmented as traffic exchanges.
It’s just not going to happen and in no way whatsoever am I trying to say that only 5 exchanges are advertising outside and doing good things, before anyone gets paranoid and puts words I’ve not said into my mouth!
The world won’t change tomorrow, TE’s will not suddenly become mainstream but they will grow faster IF more owners work together to make it happen. That’s a good thing. Isn’t it?
My tracking is showing an increased delivery of traffic at the 5 Super Surfer Exchanges. So ‘Guys’ I think your attempt at increasing surfer acivity is working - WTG!
Cheers!
Tony

I’m going to put this “super surfing” to the test. Glad to see continual innovation in the TE industry.
Jon,
Jealous is close enough, envious may be better. Resentful could fit as well.
No other Traffic Exchange has banned us and there has never been a reason for us to be banned at Dragon Surf or any other exchange.
I’ve worked very hard to get Traffic Heroes where it is at even against people like Soren who have tried to keep us from succeeding. Since I launched Traffic Heroes Feb 1 of 2007 we have done everything what would be referred to as the right way. We have spent and will spend a decent amount on advertising every month. Since we launched we have had a killer design which has been updated with a fresher newer design and our design will always be updated with newer and fresh designs. We keep fresh splash page and banners available for our members to help promote and a large variety as well to choose from.
We have referral contests with cash prizes at least every other month and Surfathons on a regular at least bi weekly basis. Along with myself I have a co administrator and we provide a high level of customer service for both our members and non members who may be thinking of joining and we have maintained a record of working very well with every other traffic exchange with the one exception of Dragon Surf.
Traffic Heroes has been listed here at HEN on several occasions as one of the top exchanges and on 3 occasions we have won Splash page of the week. We are a team player and have worked very well on promotions involving a multitude of highly rated traffic exchanges.
I have recognized Sorens accomplishments in the past but Soren refuses to recognize my accomplishments. So Jealous is close enough, envious may be better and Resentful could fit as well.
There is no one reason in the world why top rated traffic exchanges cannot work with each other and get along. Not one. I have always been willing to work with everyone and I always will be!
Peace Out!
