Jon,

Jealous is close enough, envious may be better. Resentful could fit as well.

No other Traffic Exchange has banned us and there has never been a reason for us to be banned at Dragon Surf or any other exchange.

I've worked very hard to get Traffic Heroes where it is at even against people like Soren who have tried to keep us from succeeding. Since I launched Traffic Heroes Feb 1 of 2007 we have done everything what would be referred to as the right way. We have spent and will spend a decent amount on advertising every month. Since we launched we have had a killer design which has been updated with a fresher newer design and our design will always be updated with newer and fresh designs. We keep fresh splash page and banners available for our members to help promote and a large variety as well to choose from.

We have referral contests with cash prizes at least every other month and Surfathons on a regular at least bi weekly basis. Along with myself I have a co administrator and we provide a high level of customer service for both our members and non members who may be thinking of joining and we have maintained a record of working very well with every other traffic exchange with the one exception of Dragon Surf.

Traffic Heroes has been listed here at HEN on several occasions as one of the top exchanges and on 3 occasions we have won Splash page of the week. We are a team player and have worked very well on promotions involving a multitude of highly rated traffic exchanges.

I have recognized Sorens accomplishments in the past but Soren refuses to recognize my accomplishments. So Jealous is close enough, envious may be better and Resentful could fit as well.

There is no one reason in the world why top rated traffic exchanges cannot work with each other and get along. Not one. I have always been willing to work with everyone and I always will be!

Peace Out!

My tracking is showing an increased delivery of traffic at the 5 Super Surfer Exchanges. So 'Guys' I think your attempt at increasing surfer acivity is working - WTG!

Hi Ari, I understand why some owners of smaller exchanges could be negative about this so I'm gonna try and explain why I think it's good for the traffic exchange "industry" as a whole.

OK, so this thing is about 5 of the bigger exchanges growing together and becoming stronger. Can't deny that (we have a right to earn money too. we do work hard for it!) but so why do I think this thang helps other exchanges too?

Well, each of these five exchanges has the resources to reach out to grow the industry by advertising externally, and we do. A lot! Small guys need big guys to do that because they cannot afford to advertise on any sizeable scale. Sorry if that hurts but it's just plain fact. If everybody was just advertising in each others TE's results would soon dry up.

SuperSurf will enable us to advertise more and grow together faster as we share members, activity and therefore income. Here's where that helps other TE's ....

The new members we bring in to TE's WILL receive good service and should get better results than if they join an exchange that has only 200 members for example. A greater proportion WILL have a good start to their TE experience and therefore won't storm off saying "TEs don't work"

Therefore, more new members are likely to be more successful and to stay as active surfers longer. As these new members grow their biz they WILL need to test other exchanges.

So, they will surf elsewhere and because more of them are successful they will have a greater ad budget to spend around ALL the exchanges they use. Not just these five.

Can you not see the possibilities? The top exchanges working together to grow bigger is NOT a bad thing!

There is absolutely no way that just 5 TE's or 10 or 20 could takeover an "industry" as fragmented as traffic exchanges.

It's just not going to happen and in no way whatsoever am I trying to say that only 5 exchanges are advertising outside and doing good things, before anyone gets paranoid and puts words I've not said into my mouth!

The world won't change tomorrow, TE's will not suddenly become mainstream but they will grow faster IF more owners work together to make it happen. That's a good thing. Isn't it?

Thom - completely understandable. I apologize for the mixed messages.

This was a business decision for the advancement of I Love Hits as program which in turn, helps everyone in the system.

It was not meant to go against my principles, but I can see how it did. To be honest, the amount of time I have been talking about No More Than 4, I kept hearing people say they hated the idea LOL They wanted to surf more.

The main concept behind the no more than four was to give attention and respect to your fellow surfer. The big message was not to load up 15-20 sites at once. I personally would never do that, but I know people do.

You have been encouraging the idea "no more than 4" and now it is 5. If you can't stick to the idea how can you expect anyone else to.

I'm just disappointed with you. I'll get over it.

I'll drop this now, it is not worth me getting my knickers twisted.

best wishes

John - You get the traffic from the site you surf. There is no 'distribution' of traffic around the different sites. This is not a co-op, it's a bonus surf ratio. Surf all 5 sites at once, you get a higher surf ratio. This is so far from VS Ten it can't even be compared.

Thom - That's true. I cannot argue that I stuck by no more than 4 for years. I made a decision for I Love Hits and it's members, if it's the wrong one, I'll have to live with it. But I thought I did what was best for my program. Nothing more, nothing less. And 5 at once is hardly 20, I can see you argument with raising it to five, but 20? Honestly?

hi T.E. Guy

You are missing the point.

For a long time Jon has been holding up the principle of "Surf Only 4 at a Time".

Now he seems to have just dumped it for 5 at a time.

I trust people who stick to their principles.

If they do something that goes against their publicized principles I want an acceptable explanation before I can again take anything they say or write seriously.

Come on Jon, what's next, 6 at a time because somebody comes up with another idea that you want in on.

Why not 20 at a time if somebody can make it worth giving up your principles :(

The hypocrisy of this idea is stunning! It's a modification to VS-TEN which you so determinedly shot down because of the threat of "unknown surfers" from other exchanges.

You have taken 5 great exchanges and turned them into a single useless mess.

Another "Hit Exchange News" endorsement that should be treated as a warning label.
