Issue 255 – Launch Madness and Kudos To Traffic Hoopla…
Author: Jon OlsonThere was another example of ‘How To Launch A Traffic Exchange Properly?’ this week with the massive release of Farm Traffic. I’ve been grinning from ear to ear this week because when programs like this launch, it’s a yet another victory for the traffic exchange industry as a whole.
You see, who owns a traffic exchange is a big thing for me. Let’s be honest, Farm Traffic is nothing ground breaking. It’s a straight up LJ script with some neat features and a very cool design…But it’s who is behind it that makes all the difference. First, you have Soren Jordansen who is the launch manager and when someone like Soren is behind it, well, it’s guaranteed to be successful.
Next, you have DeeDee Medcoff, the owner, who is one of the most prominent traffic exchange admins around. She works with Dragon Surf and Traffic Bunnies just to name two, and has been working in the T.E. industry for years. Again, it’s who is behind this program, that makes this program special.
The rumbles have already started though…Lots of people that are thinking about starting a traffic exchange, want to learn how to launch one like Farm Traffic. So….
Want to learn how to launch a traffic exchange like Farm Traffic? It’s simple, network! Get to know the people you want to align yourself with them. Want a hint…They can be found in Affiliate Funnel seminars, SWAT Traffic seminars and Net Marketing Forum…This isn’t the answer many people want to hear, because they want to hear ‘press this button for instant success’. But it’s the right answer. Who you know in this business and who you align yourself with makes ALL the difference.
So get out there, get active, get known and create a buss like Farm Traffic is doing right now. It’s very doable and very achievable!
Thank you very much for being a reader of Hit Exchange News and have a wonderful week!

Question: Hey Jon, how come I Love Hits and SWAT Traffic are never on the top 10 list? Since I own them, I feel it would be a conflict of interest to place it on any of my rankings. (But we all know how great they are anyways lol)

Deep Thoughts – Jon’s Weekly Rambling
Kudos To Traffic Hoopla…
Heh, weird huh. Usually the owner of Traffic Hoopla and myself are bumping heads in Net Marketing Forum but this week, I have to completely tip my hat to them. You see, the issue of traffic exchange commissions has been a hot topic for a while now, and something Hoopla mentioned earlier this year, became an issue in my forum this past week.
A certain traffic exchange is withholding commissions from their members and not paying them in a timely fashion. They even mailed about it today with an explanation. Hey, I know every owner out there isnt going to sit by their computer and wait for commission requests to come in so they can pay them immediately but here’s my point…
I’m a busy dude, I manage two pretty big traffic exchanges, a pretty big marketing hub, this newsletter and a host of other online ventures…I work a lot but still find the time to pay commissions within at least 48 hours, if not within 24 hours. If I can do it, there is no reason why other owners can’t as well.
So this is what I’m putting out there…How about we stop supporting the exchanges and programs that take their time in paying commissions and start supporting programs like Hits Booster Pro, Traffic Witch, Soaring 4 Traffic and Promo Lotto that get those commissions to you very quickly.
I know where I’ll be spending my money from now on…

Things That Make You Go Hmmm…
- In my perfect world, Logiscape programs would offer commissions…
- aWeber got rid of their second tier affiliate program and bumped commissions up to 30%…Nice, now let’s see if they stop calling TE’s untargeted traffic sources…
- I wonder how many people are still using Profit Rally rotators, says something about building a solid system…

I am still using the surfpage, URL rotators, and text rotators of Profit Rally. Incrdeible how a program that is dead is still working by itself
Hey Jon –
thanks a bunch for the fantastic write up!! you make me blush dude! and thanks for your wonderful support of the launch, it’s because of people like you that Farm Traffic is going to be so successful!
There is no excuse for not paying commissions when they are due. My commissions always went into a separate account after all it was never my money it belonged to those that earned it and for anyone to use that money they are nothing more then a thief! I always paid commissions by mass pay on the 15th of every month but if a member needed them sooner and requested them I sent them within hours of the request because it was their money not mine. Even if they didn’t have enough money to request a payout as long as they had a valid reason I would pay those to, right away.
Even the LJ exchanges that say they have between 3 and 28 days to pay have always paid me within 5 days usually the next day. Promo Lotto (Ryan Hogan) always pays the fastest usually within hours. Never had any big problems not being paid except for that traffic exchange that had that weird name that Jason, Paul Kinders ex partner owned I forget the name started with a J I think that owed me hundreds of dollars and of course Profit Rally.
Rich Morris
Ya, no excuse really…No idea why this is even an issue in this day and age, but alas, it’s becoming quite the topic. It’s not your money program owners, it’s your affiliates / members money, pay up!!!
Instead of commissions, oh how I wish traffic exchanges would be promoted as a way of traffic. I am a broken record when I say it seems a TE is only promoted as an MLM-type program. I may get slammed, but I’ll say it: I wish logiscape would improve the quality of traffic before the even thinking about commissions. I have not been here in a while, but I am glad to see Rich Morris is alive and kicking.
What about TrioTraffic.com? It’s pretty new, but I like the theme and environment of it
