Know, Like & Trust? How When You Are Hiding?

To become a superior internet marketer you must get people to…Know! Like & Trust you!

Heard that a few times huh?

The age old saying that you must get people to know, like & trust you sounds great on paper. The issue is most new and even experienced marketers like to hide behind the curtains of the internet. They rarely engage others. Never appear in blog comments. Hide behind the ‘I’m too busy‘ excuse, and rarely see the results they expect.

Simple solution really…Get people to know, like and trust you!

But how?

Get out from behind that curtain and actually be SEEN!

This is why I’m such a huge fan of programs like TE List Builder because they encourage marketers to actually do the work and step out of their comfort zones….Here’s a few other tips to get people to know, like and trust you and ultimately join your mailing list!

1. Be Active! – I’m a huge fan of people actually DOING things to learn. Don’t just read a few blog posts and then presto, you are an expert. But actual work! Actually learning WHY you are putting yourself out there to get people to know you. The more people see you taking action, daily, the more you will attract their attention.

2. Video Killed The Fake Internet Star
– Here’s an added bonus. I use a simply webcam that’s installed on my desktop and use YouTube for free to upload all my videos. How much does it cost me to get people to ‘know’ me through this format? Absolutely nothing. It’s free. Use it for yourself and get better results today.

3. Use A Little Dash Of Excitement & Sprinkle of Passion
– I did a quick blog post on TE List Builder’s blog platform about this earlier today. Want to get more people to ‘know, like and trust’ you? Add some passion in your videos. People want to be around others that show excitement in what they do for a living. try it, it’s contagious!

Added bonus:
Maybe video isn’t your cup of tea. Perhaps you aren’t comfortable to get behind the camera yet. Not to worry, because that’s where blogging comes in…Someone recently asked me, what comes first the blog or the list…I say they can be worked on and mastered at the same time. You build your lists by blogging and creating content daily 🙂

Brand and Build!
This is the sure fire way to see list building success using nothing but traffic exchanges. But it is going to take some work and elbow grease…From you 🙂

  1. Amen brotha. It’s like starting a burger joint and hating the smell of cooking meat. Why be in a industry built on engaging people if your anti social? And yes building trust is essential if you want people to come to you Vs the other guy. This is common sense stuff. Amazing people especially in te land are so not getting this. The industry is built on sharing yet it doesn’t stop with your site. Share your thoughts. Tell me the vision of your company. And if you ask me it’s the easiest thing to do. Between blogs, social media, and YouTube which is also social media, so little goes so far. Like a video if your afraid to be on camera than do audio with images or just shoot video and overlay. Heck I see people use sock puppets. #nomoreexcuses

  2. Great points Jon. I have been guilty of letting things go for a long time, butover the last few months I have started changng my game plan and doing more of the things you talk about here. I have to say, it starts out slow, but it IS WORKING. I am seeing much more results each day. Who knows, maybe I will even get on CAM soon 🙂

  3. Good stuff. Video, and blogging is a huge part of my business. Thinking about… Must do a Video for my new capture page today. Thanks!
