How To Properly Launch A Traffic Exchange?
It’s been a little over 8 hours now since Tony Tezak launched his first traffic exchange, Tezak Traffic Power. I’ve been lucky enough to not only help launch it, but sit in the SWAT Traffic training room all day and hear the wonderful stories from Tony about how this program is being received.
This launch, as it is right now, could be considered one of the best launches in history. Over 2000 members and climbing and remember, this is only 8 hours into the launch.
How did he do it?
One, he built his name in the industry for years. People know ‘Tony Tezak’. He became a brand in his own right and was the pioneer for personal branding in the traffic exchanges. He built lists, he built his network, he had a great reputation and was known as the voice of the traffic exchange surfer.
Two, he got Paul Kinder and Tim Rash to joint venture with him and be the first program to get on the KR-TCNTE script. That means right now, this is a completely UNIQUE script. He waited patiently for the cards to be dealt to him and launched it with a bang.
Paul, Tony and Tim had a game plan and executed it perfectly. They approached top traffic exchange users, owners and surfers and got them on board their JV team. One look at the top 25 list of referrers and you see not only a few surprises (Never ever doubt Mr. Kinder’s ability to find the best people for the job!) but you see the who’s who of the traffic exchange industry.
And design? Wow, I mean the thing looks like a million bucks, it’s fun, it’s got a mascot (the TEZ robot) and it sticks out like a sore thumb. And the name? I mean even as a program owner, Mr. Tezak is all over the site AND the name of the program has his name in the domain. Brilliant!
But this all wouldn’t have been possible without the key ingredient, and that being Mr. Tezak. Remember, for years we have been showing people the power of personal branding and getting your name out there first before trying to launch a program, here is the proof.
As for the program, it’s rock solid and it’s got some very cool new features. I’m going out on a limb here but knowing the track record of the guys behind this, it’s not a stretch. This program is going to be a powerhouse for years to come and it’s only getting started.
8 hours in, 2000 members….Heh, that’s what I call a success!
