Why T3 Rocked Last Night?
Some folks are calling last night’s T3 as one of the best ever and do you want to know why I agree? Mainly because Olson shut his trap for the majority of the two hour session. Yeah I did my little 20 minute chit chat but the rest of the evening belonged to Justin, Darren Olander, William Brant and the other VERY active members of the community. Just the way it should be!
What was taught last night? The big message I got was hearing that list building and making money online DOESN’T happen overnight. Even guys like Darren (who started online in 2002) and William (who started around the same time) took years of struggle and heart ache to finally get that ‘ah ha’ moment in their online business.
It kind of shocked people to see that even these guys struggled to get it going and it took years, not a few months of ‘surfing’, to get their businesses on the right path.
There’s a message I’ve really taken to heart these past few weeks and that is that the real wealth in online business is the process, not the end goal. Meaning, you will learn so much WHILE you build your business that one day, you will sit back and realize that you are making a full time income. As crazy as it sounds, it happens and these guys are living proof of it.
The other topic last night was how to get that elusive ‘full time income’. In a world and industry filled with ‘hype’, new launches and over blown promises, the sure fire way for new marketers and experienced ones is to make money through residual ‘ever green’ products and services…
Huh? Ever green what?
Things like Traffic Wave, Ad Kreator, TE Toolbox, a marketing hub, hosting services…
The products and services that people MUST use each and every day in their online business. These are recurring subscriptions that PAY affiliates, so when you refer someone to one of these programs, you can almost guarantee commissions for the long term.
It’s a much more solid business model than relying on the hype and hoopla of new product launches.
T3 was great! I learned lots, I appreciated everyone coming out to the event and I cannot wait for next week’s session…Should be a lot of fun! Let’s see what else we can learn this week…

Ye Jon I have learned more from Te Live and T3 since following it then ever and last night was the bomb. Keep up the great work you Tim Tech Guys Rock…. and you’e got cool Nerd Glasses!
LOLOL Thank you sir. Yeah I have to find new tape. The last bit I used on my glasses has worn down. New Nerd Glasses needed lol
Sorry i couldn’t make T3 last night, sounds like i missed a really good one. I have learned a lot in TE Live and T3. Keep up the good work
Thanks John, it was a really good one. I know it’s late for you guys across the pond…But hey, a nice pot of coffee and some energy drinks may be in order =) lol
Hey Jon! So sorry i missed last night’s session – actually, I haven’t been able to make it to TELive or T3 in ages, and I’m going through withdrawal pains! I always learn something from the sessions, and am generally well entertained too…miss you lots and hope I’ll see you soon at the training!
Great Recap Jon! T3 definitely rocked, but it rocks every week – which is why we show up every week! You are right on about one day looking back and realizing how far you’ve come, I truly believe as long as someone is taking to heart and acting on what they are taught there is no reason why they would not reach that point. Take every chance you can to learn, and every chance you aren’t learning to act on what you learned.
Thanks for the updates, Jon!
I’m already feeling bad that I’ve been missing the early morning sessions (my time zone) of TE Live. It seems I missed such a great session too. Boohuhu.. I hope my schedule improves really soon so I won’t be missing much of TE Live sessions.
More power to you guys! You rock!
Rain
Lynne – come back whenever you can, it’ll be great to have you in the fold again! =)
Darren – Thanks bro. It really is cool when you sit back and look at what you have done over the years. That’s why I’m a big fan of looking at the process, rather than the end goal because well…the goal can never be reached =)
Sorry I missed it. One day I won’t need an offline job. Unemployment sucked but I miss The TE live bunch now that I am back to work.
Tom
Thanks Rain – No worries. Some day I will record them LOL I promise.
Tom – Hey man, nothing wrong with that man. I did the same thing when I got started. Like I said to Rain, one day these will be recorded =)
Thanks for a great meeting. I must admit, I enjoy the more structured meetings. You guys have a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate the fact you will share what you know.
You, also, present this information in an easy to understand fashion.
I know sometimes it gets crazzzzzy in TELive but I, for one, appreciate your daily efforts to help.
Thanks Catherine…We still want to always have the relaxed atmosphere in our seminars…But I think we are really trying to show case some of the great member sin our community as well as provide some actionable advice for attendees.
But we will never put on suits and always be nerds LOL
I agree, yesterdays TE Live and T3 was the best so far. Very informative and hearing how some one overcame the odds and found success creates hope for sure. It looks like you guys and gals are on to something big here and I look forward to a long and prosperous future with the CTP Gang.
Sam
T3 was highly imformative. I was good to hear from other normal people how they worked hard for some time before a level of succes was acheived. Think we need to get Darren a pair of the timtech glasses though.
Surf parties are fun, and interesting but last nite was 60 mintues of great info.
And better news, the flip cam made an appearance. Can’t wait to see Marilyn’s videos.
Thanks TimTech crew.
Would be very glad if you recoded it but not like the recording I got yesterday from Jerry Ianucci.
I think it would have been good if I could hear him over a voice telling people what to do. When Jerry is being shy he is hard enough to hear.
I did intend to come last night but staying up until 3 or 4 in the morning night after night is harder than you think. I do go to some webinars but you would be suprised how often someone says “You can speak Jean” and I realise I have been asleep for an hour. I sneek out quickly hoping no one notices and go to bed.
Hey Jon and all.
It was great to hear new voices on T3. Now there is nothing wrong with the Tim Tech guys, nothing wrong at all, but when the members of the community take to the mic and share their experiences then that is when it really gets ramped up a gear.
Darren was just brilliant. He is just so down-to-earth and natural in his delivery that it is great to watch and listen.
T3 just keeps on getting better and better.
Patrick.
Sam – Thank you sir. It’s a pretty cool feeling. We think we really have a good formula now =)
Drew – Bang on man. Yup, Darren is just a dude. A smart cookie but still just a regular guy like we all are. Regular people, making good things happen online =)
Jean – thanks for the suggestion. I think we may start doing that next week for sure.
Patrick – and that’s what we are really trying to bring across. the community is the power here and when more people step up, the better experience it is for all.
Jon,
Great post as usual. It was fun last night hearing everyone else chat and let us know what they have learned over time.
Larry3
Ooooo…I’m sorry I missed it too!
Got home too late this time! Cast my vote for recording these sessions!!
I always seem to miss the most interesting seminars. But you can’t trust hotel WiFi connections. It simply wouldn’t let me on GVO conference.
Thanks for the summery. I agree completely with the conclusions.
IT WAS AWESOME !!! Looking forward to the next T3.
Nerds Rule !
Thanks
Thanks for the mention Jon, glad I finally got there for one, and great to see Darren get on and share too. Saw some pretty amazing golden nuggets shared that I hope to see some one take action on.
